FOSS4G ASIA 2026 invites original research contributions addressing any topic or domain connected to free and open source geospatial software, including (but not limited to): open hardware, open source software development, open geospatial science, open geospatial data, (geo)spatial data sharing systems and big data analysis, GIS for real-time applications, disaster response and recovery, geospatial health informatics, open (geospatial) cloud computing and cybersecurity, open (geo)education, participatory mapping and crowdsourcing, Digital Twins, urban analytics, sustainable urban planning and development, GeoAI and geospatial Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models, Remote Sensing for water resources management, biodiversity and ecosystem services.
FOSS4G-Asia 2026 - Abstracts - General Track
FOSS4G conference is an ideal showcase event for new applications, projects, case studies, research, business perspectives and training for free and open source geospatial software. The general track encourages you to submit your abstract / talk at the conference. The talk / abstract could be broadly based on the conference theme of "FOSS4G"
All levels of experience, knowledge, skills, and innovative ideas related to open source geospatial, OpenStreetMap, and Open Data are welcome. You will have 15 minutes for your presentation, followed by 5 mins for Q & A.
FOSS4G-Asia 2026 - Workshop Proposals
FOSS4G-Asia 2026 also invites proposals for workshops which are interactive and involve hands-on sessions in which participants have the chance to learn a FOSS4G software or technologies related to application of FOSS4G.
