Several maps of Asia will be specifically presented in this talk, and their making explained. Some of the regional or country specific cartographic conventions will be notably discussed. Example fonts suited to render different eastern language scripts will then be presented along with typographic tips for labelling the map in your language. Selected color palettes and elements of iconography will also be compared and visually explained with basic style syntax.
