This talk presents a research case of an open source implementation of a task management system based on 3D spatial information web service to efficiently conduct and manage tasks in the field of environmental impact assessment (EIA), which combines very diverse specialties.
EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment) is a set of many fields that are highly specialized in nature and therefore always consumes a lot of human and time resources when performing related tasks. In addition, environmental impact assessment is inseparable from geographical and spatial context. Therefore, in this project, we studied the technology to build efficient work and management processes and implement user-friendly services by utilizing an open source-based 3D geospatial web service platform. In particular, this presentation will focus on the areas of noise, air pollution/odor, and damage caused by electromagnetic fields from power supply lines.
